Parmis Hamnava

On October 5, 2022, the security forces entered the Parvin Etsami school in the city of Iranshahr and searched all the children's textbooks. Parmis Hamnava, a 14-year-old student attending the scool, had torn the image of Khomeini from her textbook. Reacting to this, the security guards inflicted severe blows to her head, which caused heavy bleeding from her nose. Due to the severity of her injuries, Parmis died a day later in the hospital.

The Islamic Regime has claimed that no students have been killed in Iranshahr and that they have no record of a student by the name of Parmis Hamnava.

The Haalvash news agency and Baloch Activists Campaign, which deals with human rights violations in Baluchestan, announced the name of this girl as "Parmis Hamnava" and wrote that she is a 3rd year student at Parvin Estami school.

Following Parmis’ death, her family and friends have been threatened by the Regime not to speak publicly about the incident or to disclose the matter to the media.
