Morteza

Morteza was a 14 year-old boy from Jam, in the province of Bushehr. Morteza lived in extreme poverty and struggled on a daily basis to find food to eat. On September 27, 2022, Morteza was shot and killed by security forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) while he was searching for food at the city’s central landfill. The identities of Morteza’s parents and his last name are unknown.
