Ali Abiyar, 17 years old from the village of Cheragh-Tappeh in West Azarbaijan province, was shot and killed by security forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to reports, Ali was participating in peaceful protests on November 12, 2022. He was targeted by security forces and gunned down in the street. In an attempt to cover up his story, state-run media reported that Ali was rushed to hospital due to a heart condition and later passed away.
